Led by Dan SWcanlan, aka, Cool Hand Uke, since 2000. We have performed at the Northern California Uke Fest in Santa Cruz, the New York Ukulele Festival and the 38th Annual International Ukulele Festival in Honolulu. All ages are welcome and newcomers to the ukulele are treated to Scanlan's famous first uke lesson.

PUA meets on the fourth Sunday of each month from 1 - 3 p.m.

We play traditional ukulele music as well as country, Tin Pan Alley, and more modern tunes. As a group we are currently learning to read music with the ukulele, as well as polishing some of our regular practice pieces for performance. We've performed for Elder care facilities, Elder luncheons, fund raising events, and a town fair. Local ukulele lessons (both private and group) are now offered for beginners. Much exciting ukulele activity is happening in our area. We want to share our enthusiasm and experiences with other ukulele players. Most importantly, we also assist those people wanting to learn how to play ukulele. What a great time to learn how to play the ukulele! We invite those interested to join the ukulele revolution happening i n the world right now. We welcome your contact. Our Vermont Ukulele Society website is currently being developed and is estimated to be up by mid August, 2009.
