Curt Sheller and Curt Sheller Publications. A small (me, myself and I) independent, by choice, publishing company catering to the needs of musicians, guitar players and ukulele players worldwide. Offering the resources and information needed to develop as a musician. Curt Sheller Publications, created in 1995, has been on the web for over 15 years. I have over 40 years of playing experience and have been involved in private music education for the past 20 years.
Taking advantage of my jazz guitar skills, I began pursuing the potential of the ukulele. Researching the field, I saw very little material organized for the intermediate and advanced player. I have developed an international reputation as a ukulele expert having written over 20 books on the subject of ukulele.

My Take on TAB!
Wikipedia states: "An alternate usage of the word "tab" is common on the internet, where it can also refer to conventional chord symbols (for harmony), or note names (for melody)."
This a departure from what has been traditionally known as TAB. There a lot of sites on the internet, especially ukulele sites popping up that claim to be TAB sites. These are mostly site with the chords and lyrics to songs, with chord diagrams.
For sites listed here I'll stick with the traditional, pre Internet, definition of what TAB is.

Finely handcrafted, one-by-one, for those who are price-conscious but unwilling to sacrifice quality, looks, or feel.
Blackbird Guitars was founded by Joe Luttwak and Kyle Wolfe and now includes fellow designer Troy Stevens. After years searching for a compact guitar worth bringing along for the ride, all they could find was thin sounding and fragile. Eventually they realized that none of the established companies would tackle this problem so they decided to do it themselves. It started innocently enough with the typical design process: produce as many ideas as possible and prototype them. It helped having all the latest tools such as three-dimensional CAD (computer-aided design), computer controlled laser cutters and routers as well as advanced materials such as carbon-fiber, and structural foams. Also being based in the San Francisco Bay Area meant access to many of world's great steel-string luthiers who consulted and encouraged the project along so development continued. It quickly became clear that their non-traditional backgrounds were resulting in radically new directions. The result was part mountain dulcimer and part F1 race car that harmoniously balanced technology with traditional craftsmanship. All Blackbird Guitars are built in our shop in San Francisco overlooking the Bay.
All Cole Clark ukuleles comprise our unique "Carved to fit" Soundboard & Backs, as well as the "Spanish" or "Integral Neck", that is, the neck forms a part of the construction as with our "Fat Lady" range of acoustic guitars.

As close as I can figure it started back in about 1966. My uncle was a surfer, and he once gave my dad a three foot stone Tiki as a gift. My dad put it out under the big tree next to my play house, where it stood for almost twenty years until said tree was cut down and the Tiki disappeared. But back then that Tiki was about as close to magic as it gets. It made an impression I guess. I have been carving Tikis as long as I can remember, but things really got going in 1993 on the day my wife and I drove up north for our honeymoon. We brought along a Tiki to leave at the house we rented, and on the long drive the question arose, aside from myself, where can one get a good Tiki? I had scoured the good will, and all the local thrift stores, but it was hit and miss, and the local Tiki bars turned up nothing, souvenir-wise. There was, of course, Hawaii, but that was too involved for the average potential Tiki seeker. I mean, where can a normal working Joe go to get a decent Tiki in a hurry?
