I'll be attending several ukulele festivals across the US in 2008. Here are the ones I plan on attending or visiting in 2008
- New York Uke Fest - April 3, 4, 5, 6
- M.A.U.I, Annapolis, MD - June 6 & 7
Had a great time performing at the Friday Night Ukulele Cabaret at At "The Whiskey" in Annapolis, MD and presenting a workshop on creating solo ukulele arrangements the next day.
- Windy City Uke Fest, Chicago, IL - August 1, 2, 3
I'll be performing Saturday night at 6PM and presenting an advanced ukulele workshop Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

(from festival site) - Swallow Hill is pleased to present a unique festival for uke lovers. This one-day event will give participants a lot of bang for their buck. There will be morning and afternoon ukulele workshops, jamming and open stages in the café, ukulele builders and vendors, and an evening concert in Daniels Hall.

(from festival site) - Uke Fest activities are located in the heart of beautiful, Reed College campus which surrounds the Johnson Creek watershed and is home to abundant wildlife-a perfect setting for learning and relaxation.Each class extends over three consecutive days to deepen your learning and jump start your playing technique and repetoire at any level. To round out your musical experience you can join in other classes such as hula, acoustic bass, and percussion. Repertoire classes include Hawaiian, ragtime, jazz standards, and folk.

(from festival site) - On July 4th and 5th in Vicenza: the first Italian Ukulele Festival ever with the great James Hill from Canada, the amazing Bosko & Honey from Australia and several Italian ukulele players including: Fabio Koryu Calabrò, Max De Bernardi & Veronica Sbergia, Adriano Bono.

(from festival site) - This will be the largest ukulele festivals in the Midwest. Chicago has had a strong ukulele history from ukulele manufactures to great ukulele performers. We wish to continue the aloha spirit and share with you everything the ukulele has to offer. The `ukulele is the gift that keeps on giving. We will have performers and ukulele instructors from around the world giving world-class ukulele workshops. Come and delight in the three fun-filled days of ukulele paradise. We will have an UkeTube stage where any uke player can show their stuff. The main stage will have top performers from the ukulele community. We will have starter workshops for people and kids that have never played a musical instrument of any type.
