These are the most common amplifier (heads) that are used for jazz guitar.

I wouldn't combine the Polytone's speaker with a T8 (Raezer's Edge Twin 8). The Poly's rating is actually closer to 3 Ohms and the RE is actually probably more like 3.6 Ohms. (The 4 Ohm is just a "nominal" rating that Eminence puts on the speakers, but the actual load varies with cabinet design, note pitch and some other variables). Anyway, putting to "4 Ohm" speakers together is likely to dip you below 2 Ohms, potentially frying even the most robust amp.
Using a 8 Ohm speaker as an extension usually really works well, but a 4 ohm is a wholly different matter.
