My Gigging Equipment

gear.shtml | Updated: 02-Jul-2009 - 12:05

I have a simple setup. An American Archtop 7 String Legend guitar run through a Clarus Acoustic Image head into a Reazer's EDGE Stealth 12 cabinet and Reazer's EDGE NY 8 cabinet. No effects or pedals.

This Clarus Acoustic Image and Reazer's EDGE setup is the same setup I use with my ukulele for concerts if not going direct to the board.

Here are links to the manufactures that I rely on for my gear.

  • American Archtop 7 String Legend - Being built for delivery any day now (2007)

Sound Gear

  • Acoustic Image - Using a Clarus 2R
  • Raezer's Edge Custom Cabinets - Stealth 12 and NY 8

Rich Raezer started building speaker cabinets to fill a void in the market: a small cabinet with a big sound. Many musicians complained that in order to get a great sound from their guitar, they had to carry about 80 pounds of equipment. After building many cabinets, Rich found the solution to the weight and size problem without sacrificing tone performance. The final result was a compact, closed -back, tuned, ported cabinet that produced a warm, focused tone with no break-up.

Rich Raezer passed away July 7 2005. His cabinets continue to be available without any changes or modifications. All of his designs, tools, fixtures and equipment have been relocated to Hartland, Wisconsin. We are proud to carry on the same tradition of excellence as produced by Rich Raezer.
