I personally want to get a Ko'olau 300 or 400 Tenor with rosewood back and side, a cedar top, cutaway, amplified, a radius fingerboard.

(Update 01-JUN-2008) - I personally have had three Pono tenor ukuleles from the Ko'olau Guitar & 'Ukulele Company, and now have two PTRC-CS, Rosewood/Cedar tenor ukes with cutaway. I also have a G-String James Hill Tenor that is for sale.
Here two books that I personally use with my bass and guitar students and highly recommend. There are great books.
